MINUTES OF A PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
Held in the Village Hall All Cannings on Wednesday 28th April 2004

MINUTES
Minutes of the Parish Council meeting, held on 31st March 2004, having been circulated were confirmed as a true record and signed by the chairman.
REPORTS FROM COMMITTEES
PCC: Meeting held on 2nd April, at the Churchyard, with Dr. Hollway and Dennis Powney, Wiltshire Wildlife Trust present. See attached report for details of the meeting. Letter received from Rev. Attwater, regarding the Disability Act and legal requirements at the Churchyard. Mr Daw to advise regarding signs for the Churchyard.
Village Community Store and Post Office: Copy of latest update attached.
Village Green: Play Quest informed regarding work required following ROSPA report. Swings in need of repair. Clerk to discuss with Mr. Game.
CORRESPONDENCE
Planning Application
K/047461 Keith Baron Esq., Rendells Farm, All Cannings.
The erection of a detached building for tractor garage and storage.
Planning Permission
K/047178/T Mrs. S. Osbourne, Bridge House, All Cannings.
Fell leaning tree in copse area.
Community First: Wiltshire Village Shops Survey. Request to forward details regarding information on village shops and Post Offices.
ACCOUNTS
Three cheques were presented for signature:
000464 WALC Annual Subscription £157.78
000465 Village Hall Rental £16.00
000466 Cannings Farms Ltd. Supplying Trees £35.25
Cheques: Clerk to advise bank regarding further signatures required for authorisation of cheques.
Village Skips: Skips can be hired from Kennet District Council at a cost of £51.00 per skip. Liability would be the responsibility of the hirer.
E – Mail: Addresses of councillors to be advised.
The meeting closed at 8.20pm.
