MINUTES OF A PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
Held in the Village Hall All Cannings on Wednesday 28 July 2004

MINUTES
Minutes of the Parish Council meeting, held on 30 June 2004, having been circulated were confirmed as a true record and signed by the chairman.
REPORTS FROM COMMITTEES
PCC: Letter from Rita Moore, Home Farm Cottage, regarding the condition of the Churchyard. Clerk to forward correspondence to Dr. Hollway.
Village Community Store and Post Office: Business plan to be prepared. Further meetings to be held with the Village Hall Committee, to be followed with meetings involving the Trustees
Village Green: Further quotations to be obtained. Possibility of laying down bark at the play area. Fencing to be investigated.
Cemetery Committee: Request from Mr. and Mrs. George Nash regarding the purchase of a Grant of Exclusive Right of Burial, for a double grave.

Amended 29/07/04 to read: Fell Sycamore, Maple & Horse Chestnut. Prune/pollard 2 Ash & 1Poplar.
K/50524/F Keith Baron Esq., Rendells Farm, All Cannings, Devizes.
Erection of a detached building for tractor garage and storage.
Parish Lengthsmen: To advise when they will carry out work in All Cannings.
Tumlins Path and Darkies Lane: Mr. Game has cleared path of litter etc.
Chandlers Lane: Mr. Game has strimmed corner, to eliminate any obstruction from view at exit from Chandlers Lane.
Village School: Use of external notice board at school has been approved.
Townsend: No through road sign to be replaced.
Thornycroft Path: Bridge railings to be repaired.
Archaeological Dig: Meeting successful. Open day to be arranged.
Wiggly Bus: Request to install a bus stop at All Cannings Bridge. Clerk to request updated map and further details.
The meeting closed at 8.30pm.
