CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
The Chairman gave a report of the year’s work undertaken by the Parish Council.
A copy is attached to the minutes.
MINUTES
Minutes of the Parish Council meeting, held on 30th April 2003, having been circulated were confirmed as a true record and signed by the chairman.
MATTERS ARISING
Litter Grant: Clerk has put the council forward for a grant for the current financial year.
ACCOUNTS
A summary of receipts and payments for the financial year ending 31st March 2004 was given by the clerk.
Receipts for the year: £5853.96
Payments for the year: £6295.16
Bank Balances
Lloyds Bank Treasurers Account: 0019780 £3399.61
Lloyds Bank Business Account: 7404484 £5309.84
NSB Investment Account: 137921791 £1206.04
Total Balance £9915.49
An approximate forecast for receipts and payments was also given for the financial year 2004 – 2005. The final accounts will be presented in the new format at a future date.
There being no further business the meeting closed at 7.35pm.

REPORTS FROM COMMITTEES
PCC: Meeting held on 2nd April, at the Churchyard, with Dr. Hollway and Dennis Powney, Wiltshire Wildlife Trust present. See attached report for details of the meeting. Letter received from Rev. Attwater, regarding the Disability Act and legal requirements at the Churchyard. Mr Daw to advise regarding signs for the Churchyard.
Village Community Store and Post Office: Copy of latest update attached.
Village Green: Play Quest informed regarding work required following ROSPA report. Swings in need of repair. Clerk to discuss with Mr. Game.

Three cheques were presented for signature:

Cheques: Clerk to advise bank regarding further signatures required for authorisation of cheques.
Village Skips: Skips can be hired from Kennet District Council at a cost of £51.00 per skip. Liability would be the responsibility of the hirer.
